Video: Diouf takes leading role in this week’s Stars in Motion

Luxembourg, March 13, 2015 - The semifinalists of the women's 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League were decided yesterday, with Unendo Yamamay Busto Arsizio putting in perhaps the most impressive performance against Russia’s Dinamo Moscow. It only seems natural that opposite Valentina Diouf features in this week's One to Watch video as four teams prepare to compete for European honours and a berth at the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

Although Diouf only played in the first two sets of Unendo Yamamay’s victory in Moscow, she contributed 15 points and was the top scorer of the match. A great display of power placed her in the spotlight of this week's Stars in Motion videos.

The Dream Team of the week also features Volero Zurich’s setter Courtney Thompson and outside spiker Natalya Mammadova, Fenerbahce Grundig Istanbul’s attacking weapon Yeon-Koung Kim and middle blocker Eda Erdem Dundar, VakifBank Istanbul’s middle blocker Robin de Kruijf, as well as Diouf’s teammate at Unendo Yamamay, libero Giulia Leonardi.

Valentina Diouf also stars in the Top 5 Most Amazing Rallies highlight clip. Dinamo’s defence saves two of her spikes in a row, but at her third attempt she finds a way to put the ball to the ground.
