The city has an active sporting scene and the abundance of international sporting facilities make it an attractive place for sport lovers. The headquarters of several international sport federations are located in the city including the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).

Venue

The FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship will take place at the Saalssporthall in Zurich.

Located to the west of the city, Saalssporthall has a capacity of 2,300 spectators. The venue has hosted the last two Women’s Club World Championships.
