Osasco, Brazil, February 2, 2015 - The build-up to the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship continues with the South American Women's Club Championship to begin in Brazil on Wednesday.

A total of eight teams will participate in the competition, which will take place from February 4-8. Two four-team pools will play the round-robin phase, with the best two teams from each pool qualifying for the semifinals. The winner will qualify for the Women's Club World Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Zürich, Switzerland from May 5-10.

Villa Dora will make their debut at an international competition when they take on Pool B opponents San Francisco Xavier at 15.30 (Argentina time) on Wednesday. For the members of the team from Argentina, it will be a huge step and an opportunity to pick up valuable international experience ahead of the South American country's Women's A1 League 2015. The team in Osasco includes Camila Hiruela, who replaces Julia Benet.

Pool A includes San Martín de Porres (Peru), Club Boston College (Chile), Club Atlético Bohemios (Uruguay) and competition organisers Osasco Voleibol Clube (Brazil), who were FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship winners in 2012.
