Rexona Ades go into the Club World Championship on the back of their 10th Brazilian title
Lausanne, Switzerland, May 2, 2015 - Volleyball fans can re-live the glory that came when Rexona Ades won the Brazilian Superliga for the 10th time to give themselves a huge confidence boost ahead of the start of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship.
The Brazilians booked their place in Zurich by winning the South American Women’s Club Championship with a (15-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-14) victory over domestic rivals Molico Nestle and added a second trophy for the year after they defeated the same opponents 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-19) to win the Brazilian title.
The ninth edition of the Women’s Club World Championship will run in Zurich’s Saalsporthalle from May 6 to 10 and features hosts Volero Zurich, the Asian, South American and European Champions and two FIVB wild card teams.
Rexona Ades and Volero Zurich will be joined by European champions Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul, Asian champs Hisamitsu Springs from Japan and wild cards teams Dinamo Krasnodar from Russia and Dominican Republic side, Aruba Mirador.
