Dr Graça was on hand to present the Club World Championship trophy
Lausanne, Switzerland, May 12, 2015 - FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° was quick to praise the success of the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship.
Eczacibasi Vitra Istanbul beat Dinamo Krasnador 3-1 (25-16, 25-21, 24-26, 25-19) in the final to end five days of exciting action in Zurich’s Saalssporthall, home of Volero Zurich who completed the podium with the bronze medal.
“The teams are not international teams, but they are made up by the best teams in the world and you could see here that we had the best teams and the best players,” Dr. Graça said.
“The tournament is becoming something that they didn’t have in the past and it helps us enthuse the public here in Switzerland and Zurich to better understand what volleyball is."
