Dinamo Krasnodar

Dinamo Krasnodar will make their World Club Championship debut after receiving a wild card invitation in March 2015, and they will try to replicate Russian side Dinamo Kazan's victory in the competition in 2014. The team showed they were worthy of the wild card when they won the CEV Cup after a golden-set win over Polish side PGE Atom Trefl Sopot in April 2015. Tatiana Kosheleva inspired the victory when she hit 37 points in the second leg of the final and was named Most Valuable Player for the tournament.

The team were second in the 2011 edition of the CEV Cup, but had shown their potential in European competition by winning the CEV Challenge Cup in 2013. Krasnodar's best finish in the Russian national league was third in 2010 and 2011. Their main domestic success has been in the Russian Cup. They won it in 1994 and 2014, were second in 1993 and 2010, and had three consecutive third-place finishes between 2011 and 2013.

Konstantin Ushakov coaches the team. He won Olympic silver and bronze medals for the Russian men's national side in 2000 and 2004 respectively. The 45-year-old joined the Dinamo Krasnodar coaching staff after retiring as a player, initially as the assistant coach. He was made head coach in 2014.
